Astro Camp
We offer two kinds of astronomy camps — our standard Star Trails astronomy camp and our new Kiddie Star Trails astronomy camp just for kids.
Star Trails is an overnight astronomy camp with astronomy lectures, telescope viewing, stargazing, film showing, and exhibits of real space rocks!
Our experienced astronomers give cutting-edge and up-to-date information that is not yet found in your textbooks and great views of space possible only with modern equipment.
A full package includes:
- Three (3) to ten (10) telescopes, depending on your needs
- Custom starmap for the night
- Teaching of constellations
- Showing of astronomical videos from NASA
- Viewing of authentic meteorite samples from IMCA
- Lectures from some of the country's best astronomers
Students will learn in our camps that astronomy is not just stargazing — it is an exciting field of science where astronomers are discovering new things everyday.
