Pyxis services include stargazing, telescope viewing, astronomy camps, and teacher training. Pyxis products include astronomy educational materials such as the Astrocamp Star Trails Kit, Philippine Star Atlas, Custom Starmaps, Moon Map, Philippine Planetary Chart, Astronomical Calendar, Philippine Ephemeris, and Custom Astronomical Predictions.
Stargazing Philippines
We provide stargazing anywhere in the Philippines. We have packages for schools, corporate affairs, private organizations, family gatherings, and public events. We provide telescope rental for birthday parties, debut and wedding receptions, and family gatherings.
Pyxis services are led by very able astronomers such as Bamm Gabriana, Rochelle Derilo, Allen Yu, Myo Abello, Glenn Victorino, George Toribio, Lynelle Espina, and Analyn Domingo.
Astronomer Credentials
Pyxis Astronomy is the only stargazing service provider where the majority of lecturers are formally schooled in astronomy — our astronomers are taking their M.S. Astronomy in Rizal Technological Universtiy (RTU), the only university that offers a formal course in astronomy in the Philippines.
More than half of our astronomers studied college in the University of the Philippines in Diliman (UP Diliman).
Our astronomers have considerable experience providing stargazing services. Our team includes members of the UP Astronomical Society (UP Astrosoc), Philippine Astronomical Society (PAS), Astronomical League of the Philippines (ALP), and RTU Astronomy Students' Association (RTU ASTRO).
The team members have given countless astronomy lectures, astrocamps, and stargazing events for many years.
